RIYADH: The Saudi Social Development Bank on Tuesday marked issuing 250,000 productive family business certificates by signing agreements worth more than SR12 million ($3.2 million) to provide further support.
During an exhibition to celebrate and highlight some of the ventures that had benefitted from the bank’s services, the SDB launched 91 activities under the title Souk Al-Dar (home market) to empower families through seasonal sales outlets in all regions of the Kingdom and their involvement in key national events.
Chief executive officer of the standing committee for productive families, Ibrahim bin Hamad Al-Rashed, and representatives of many NGOs attending the event, signed 13 agreements worth at least SR12 million to provide funding and non-financial help for productive families.
Meanwhile, the committee held its regular meeting for 2021 that was attended by members from various government agencies.
