Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh is scheduled to take part in the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting 2023 in Davos, Switzerland, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The event is set to feature political and business leaders, ministers, chairpersons of the boards of directors of major international institutions, businesspeople and regional and international organisations.
Khasawneh will engage with Davos 2023 participants in discussions focused on the Kingdom's attractive investment climate with the goal of supporting existing ventures, attracting new ones and enhancing entrepreneurship initiatives.
Headed by Khasawneh, the Jordanian delegation will include Finance Minister Mohamad Al-Ississ, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan and Minister of Environment Muawieh Radaideh, all of whom arrived in Davos on Tuesday.
The premier will attend a panel session on Arab economies, featuring the participation of Iraq President Abdul Latif Rashid and representatives of Arab economic, financial and investment institutions.
The 2023 WEF will discuss global economic conditions and challenges, especially following the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, according to Petra.
