BEIRUT - Lebanon is looking forward to restoring normal ties with Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati said in a statement on Friday after the information minister's resignation.

Mikati added that the resignation of George Kordahi was necessary.
