AMMAN The King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) has launched the sixth edition of the Tariqi project, in the sectors of e-marketing, retail sale, insurance, customer service and logistics.
The project aims to develop the competitiveness of Jordanian youth to join the labour market. The KAFD, in a statement released by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Tuesday, said that the project aims to increase the employability of graduates by developing their life and technological skills through practical training, before offering them jobs at host companies.
The project targets Jordanians between the ages of 18 and 27 who fall under certain criteria. The KAFD has developed a registration form that allows graduates to apply for the project through their website:join.kafd.jo. The form is open Wednesday through Sunday.
Non-university graduates in the 18-25 age group who completed Tawjihi (the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination) can join the projects retail sale sector.
