AMMAN - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, in partnership and cooperation with the Civil Status and Passports Department and the Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ministry, on Sunday announced that Jordanians residing in Germany, Russia, Algeria, Greece and Romania can now apply online to renew and issue passports.

Following the launching of this service in 19 diplomatic missions, covering 28 countries, work is ongoing over the next few weeks to launch the service through diplomatic missions in Rome, Madrid, Beirut, Paris and Khartoum, the ministry announced in a statement.

The service had previously been launched in Riyadh, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat, Manama, Doha, Kuwait City, Washington, London, Ottawa, Canberra, Cairo and Ankara.

The service is expected to be available at all Jordanian diplomatic missions once all procedures and necessary arrangements are completed. The service is available on: https://eservices.cspd.gov.jo/index-rtl.html or www.cspd.gov.jo.
