Muscat: The first phase of the job security system will start in November 2020 and the second phase will start after three years of the system’s establishment.

A statement issued online by the Government Communication Center (GC) said, ”The generous initiative came from His Majesty to finance the job security system with an amount of OMR 10 million as the first supporter and contributors.”

The statement completed, ”The job security system provides effective solutions to the issue of Omanis whose services are terminated by providing them with social protection, and the system is financed by the government, the private sector and workers, and each employee who is working contributes an amount of OMR 1 for every OMR 100 of his monthly salary.”

The statement confirmed, “The job security system will be implemented in two phases, the first phase will start in November 2020, in which the benefits will be spent for Omanis whose services have been terminated, while the second phase will start after three years of the system’s establishment, during which a subsidy will be disbursed to job seekers.”
