CAIRO  - Egypt's strategic sugar reserves are enough for six months of consumption, a senior official in the ministry of supply and internal trade told Reuters on Monday.

Egypt's cooking oil reserves are enough for five months and its rice reserves are enough for three and a half months, said Ibrahim Ashmawy, the head of the internal trade development authority.
