Cairo – The Egyptian Food Export Council is looking to export $176 million worth of dates over the coming three years, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Sunday.

During the first half (H1) of 2020, Egyptian exports of dates reached $26 million.

In 2019, the country was 12th largest exporter of dates with a value of $44 million, accounting for 2.7% of the world's total exports of dates, according to data released by the United Nations (UN).
