RIYADH As many as 20,000 Saudi female employees have registered with Wusool, a transportation program for working women, from November 2020 until May this year, after amendments were made to the mechanism and requirements of the program last year.

The program, which is affiliated with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), aims to find solutions that reduce the burden of transportation costs for Saudi female workers in the private sector.

According to HRDF, the increase is due to the amendments made to the program to accommodate a large number of applicants as well as to facilitate registration procedures. The amendments include the extension of the program’s support period to two years instead of one year.

The service is being provided through companies licensed by the Ministry of Transport to ensure the highest level of safety.

Wusool Program covers 13 regions around the Kingdom. Female employees can register in the program via visiting; http://wusool.sa.
