Saudi Customs and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development signed a memorandum of cooperation in this regard.
The deal also aimed at developing the Saudi workforce and raising their competitiveness in all ports, in addition to upgrading the level of services in customs clearance activities and empowering the local workforce to join the sector.
The memorandum also includes providing incentives to the customs clearance sector to support customs clearance facilities and jobseekers in this sector, harmonizing nationalization policies, and providing qualification and training for citizens who wish to work in the sector.
The memorandum comes within the framework of an integrated initiative presented by Saudi Customs to develop the customs clearance sector, along with other initiatives.
