SHABWA,Yemen, 6th August, 2017 (WAM) -- The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, on Monday, distributed food assistance to poor patients with kidney failure in Azzan of Mayfa'a District in the Yemeni Governorate of Shabwa.
Mohammed Al Muhairi, Head of the ERC team in Shabwa, said the assistance is part of the UAE's humanitarian campaign to alleviate suffering of the Yemeni people and improve their living and economic conditions.
He commended the Dialysis Centre in Mayfa'a District for efforts being made to assist patients and meet their requirements despite the deteriorating conditionsin the state institutions due to the war waged by the Houthi-Saleh militias. ''Provision of assistance to health facilities tops the ERC's plan of action in Shabwa,'' he affirmed. Dr. Nasser Amzeb, Director of Dialysis Centre, thanked the ERC for extending humanitarian and food assistance to liberated areas in Yemen.
