   NEW YORK--(Business Wire)--Turkish Airlines has been awarded a silver medal by the Stevie Awards in thecategory "The Best Internal Recognition/Motivational Event." THY was recognizedfor the March 15th event held at the Turkish Technic Hangar in Istanbul. At the event, Turkish Airlines unveiled a newly painted B-737-800 that wascovered with the photos of roughly 17,000 of the airline`s employees. Theaircraft was given this special livery to acknowledge the dedication of itsstaff as the airline has grown and won numerous awards for excellence. Therewere 1,500 staff members present at the unveiling and the aircraft is now inline service, carrying its message of staff service and quality across thenetwork.
