Saudi Arabia - Commvault, a global enterprise leader in data management across on-premises, cloud, and SaaS environments, is hosting its key event - Connections on the Road - in Saudi capital Riyadh on March 7.
The upcoming event at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh At Kingdom Center will provide an opportunity for IT and security professionals to obtain a better grasp of how to manage a large hybrid workforce in the face of an ever-changing threat landscape, said Commvault in its statement.
Leading industry leaders, customers, partners, and local and regional experts will be sharing their insights, best practices, and technical tips, it added.
During the event, senior Commvault executive Fady Richmany, Regional Vice President & General Manager, SEEMEA, will highlight how to innovate with confidence today, and meet your critical business needs tomorrow.
Tima Deryan, Mountaineer, Mindset Coach, Social Entrepreneur, and Author will also be offering unique and exciting insights on how the content presented can affect your business and your digital transformation journey.
Besides them, top industry experts such as Hamza Naqshbandi, the Associate Vice President (Saudi Arabia & Bahrain) at IDC, will be taking part.
As a thought leader for emerging technologies, digital transformation, and nationwide ICT strategies, Hamza will moderate a discussion on ‘Thriving in Today’s Digital First World – Perspectives from the Evolving Kingdom’, which will includes Turki Al Shuail, Solution Unit Leader, Microsoft KSA, and Yahya Kassab, Senior Director & General Manager – KSA, Gulf and Pakistan Commvault.
Richmany said: "We are proud to be hosting our latest Connections event in Riyadh, particularly at a key time for the KSA, as it is witnessing huge growth across many sectors and heavily investing in information and communications technology, positioning it as a leader in the region's digital economic transformation."
The number of ransomware attacks worldwide increased by 151% in the first half of 2021, highlighting the need of enterprises implementing both a robust and future-proof data management strategy.
"Data security is becoming increasingly important, so we look forward to connecting with many of our industry partners at our Connections event in Riyadh and continue offering our support to businesses, helping them take control of their data in a safe, productive and sustainable way," he stated.
According to experts, Saudi Arabia is fast-becoming a centre of digital process and innovation, with the implementation of Saudi Vision 2030 and the government’s modernisation efforts driving the creation of sustainable operations and accelerating its digital transformation.
During digital transformation projects, keeping the applications and data workloads up and running and recoverable is a top concern, said the experts.
Hence, this latest event will offer expert advice and insights to help drive data protection, data security, and data compliance programs, while also providing the opportunity to network with industry peers, they added.
