Qasr-e Shirin, Kermanshah Prov – Governor of Qasr-e Shirin said that some $829m worth of goods have been exported through Parviz Khan and Khosravi borders of the province to Iraq in the first three quarters of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 20, 2016).
Faramarz Akbari told IRNA on Saturday that exported products weigh 2,560,000 tons.
'Exported products consisted of grey cement, cake, biscuit, air conditioning systems, tomato, tomato paste, watermelon, dairy products, construction tools, fruits and vegetables', he added.
'Some $50m worth of goods weighing 450,000 tons were exported through Khosravi official border and $779m worth of products weighing 2,110,000 tons were exported through Parvizkhan border to Iraqi Kurdistan.
Parvizkhan is an important and strategic border in Iran that exports 54% of Iran's non-oil products to Iraq.
Some 800-1200 trucks carry exported products through Parvizkhan border to Iraqi Kurdistan per day.
Meanwhile, some 500 trucks carry goods through Khosravi official border to center of Iraq every day.
