JEDDAH — The Board of Directors of Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation, headed by the Minister of Transport, Saleh Al-Jasser, has urged speeding up preparations for the return of international flights next month.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Interior had amended last Jan. 29, the date for lifting the suspension of travel for Saudi citizens and the full operation of airports and crossing points on land and sea borders, as of May 17, 2021.
In its meeting held on Thursday, the Board also discussed, a number of issues related to the corporation’s strategy, performance reports, and programs for developing and improving services.
The Minister of Transport expressed his thanks to the Executive Management of the Corporation and its employees for the efforts expended during the past period.
The period witnessed the continuation of operations for domestic flights, with the implementation of the highest standards in the precautionary and preventive measures to limit the spread of any novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, and to ensure the safety of the guests and employees alike.
