Saudi Arabia - The Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) recently signed a contract with Fawaz Al-Hokair Group to provide health insurance services to its employees and their families through Tawuniya’s network of approved health service providers in the Kingdom.

As part of the contract, which came into effect in February, Tawuniya will provide medical insurance cover for 15,000 employees and their families. Tawuniya’s health insurance services for Al-Hokair Group include: In-patient and outpatient clinics, hypnosis, treatment of chronic diseases, emergencies and pre- and post-natal care as well as many other features listed in the approved table of benefits.

The contract was signed at the Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Company headquarters in Riyadh in the presence of Tawuniya’s Vice President Corporate and Key Accounts Mohammed H. Quraishah, Al-Hokair Fashion Retail Company’s Chief HR Officer Mohammed Alshammari and CEO of Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Company Hesham Haddad.

Quraishah said: “This health insurance contract with Fawaz Al-Hokair Group is part of an ongoing partnership for 10 years. It embodies Tawuniya’s role in providing comprehensive insurance protection and helping our clients mitigate against risks.”

“Tawuniya has a long experience in managing medical insurance portfolios and works in cooperation with the largest network of accredited medical service providers in the Kingdom. Moreover, our vision is to enable Saudi society to progress safely toward the future by creating innovative insurance solutions which provide a full range of protection for different segments of customers,” he added.

Tawuniya and Fawaz Al-Hokair Group began their partnership in 2006. The new contract is an outcome of the long-standing relationship between the two parties that is supported by Tawuniya’s financial and technical capabilities built over 34 years of experience, together with its qualified and trained staff. The company offers more than 60 different types of insurance products including medical, motor, property and casualty.
