Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia's National Water Company (NWC), represented by the General Directorate for Water Services in the Eastern Province, has launched four vital water and wastewater projects in Damman city at a total value exceeding SAR 107 million.
Serving more than 127,000 new customers, the new projects aim to increase the service coverage, boost operational efficiency for water and environmental services, while eliminating environmental costs in some districts across the city, according to a press release on Monday.
Moreover, the projects will supply more than 11 kilometres of main and sub pipeworks and 199 kilometres of water and wastewater networks, linking over 12,000 properties, NWC Eastern Cluster senior general manager, Hamdi Al Sherari, revealed.
The NWC is speeding up to finalise several key projects that will not only serve both citizens and residents in the Eastern Province but will also promote the standard of services provided as part of objectives and initiatives of the Saudi Vision 2030, the statement concluded.
