MOSCOW- Russian steel producer NLMK temporarily suspended part of its smelting capacity in the central part of the country while a fire was brought under control, it said on Monday.
Smelting at NLMK's basic oxygen furnace N2 was suspended after a fire caused by a blast at the oxygen depot but the fire was quickly contained, NLMK said, adding that no one was injured in the accident.
