Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi unveils FIFA standard football pitch

The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal has unveiled a new 20,000-square-meter FIFA standard football and rugby pitch in the resort, joining an elite portfolio of global hotels to have the professional size pitch as part of its leisure facilities. The football ground, which will be available for the training seasons of professional teams, sports camps, corporate incentive activities and other sporting activities, is open now and available for bookings.

Complemented by views of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the property’s new recreational facility boasts an exclusive Club House with a private gym and recovery room, making it the perfect spot for professional sports teams visiting Abu Dhabi locally and internationally. The venue provides a separate 7-a-side pitch and a dedicated goalkeeper practice area, and can also be transformed into a rugby field upon request to host professional matches.
