A new residential development featuring apartments, a movie theatre, a record lounge and a podcast room is to be built in Dubai’s Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT).
Upper House will include 754 apartments as well as facilities likely to appeal to the influencer generation and a skate park, a pet play area and 37m “horizon pool”.
The AED 1.2 billion ($327 million) development, which is due to be complete by early 2026, will include studio apartments as well as one, two and three bedroom properties.
Ellington Properties and Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), who are behind the development, said the project is being designed by architects Brewer Smith Brewer Group (BSBG).
Ellington has developed real estate in London’s Belgravia as well as Dubai’s Jumeirah Village Circle and Downtown. The company announced last year that it would build luxury apartments on The Palm Jumeirah with Dubai-listed Shuaa Capital real estate arm Northacre.
