Raytheon Technologies, one of the world’s leading aerospace and defense systems providers, will showcase its advanced capabilities for local and global customers to thousands of exhibitors and visitors during the upcoming International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX), scheduled to take place from February 21 to 25 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec).

“We are looking forward to participating in what will be the first live defense show in the Middle East since the pandemic started,” said Alan Davis, chief executive of Abu Dhabi based Raytheon Emirates. “This will be the first time we exhibit as Raytheon Technologies since being formed last year. We are excited to demonstrate how our products and solutions efficiently and rapidly address the priorities of our defense and commercial partners in the UAE and the region.”

In April 2020, Raytheon Company and United Technologies merged to form Raytheon Technologies, creating one of the world’s largest aerospace and defense companies. The company serves customers worldwide, including in the UAE and the Middle East, through a diverse portfolio of businesses: Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, Raytheon Intelligence & Space and Raytheon Missiles & Defense.

During the exhibition, Raytheon Technologies will display systems for the UAE and the Middle East, including integrated air and missile defense, laser solutions, counter unmanned aircraft systems, secure communications and navigation, command and control, integrated avionics, ejection seats and more.
Raytheon Technologies and Collins Aerospace exhibits will be located adjacent to one another in the US pavilion at booths 03-A20 and 03-C07 respectively.--TradeArabia News Service
