Tehran - Vice-President for Planning and Strategic Supervision Affairs Mohammad-Baqer Nobakht said on Monday that five installments of dlrs 4.2 billion frozen assets have been received by the Central Bank of Iran.
Nobakht told IRNA that the Central Bank of Iran took delivery of the five-part payment from Iranian frozen assets with foreign banks.
He said that the Central Bank of Iran carried formal procedure to receive the payments.
He said that like the previous payments a long process taken to unfreeze Iranian assets abroad, the CBI acquired all of them.
He added that unfreezing $4.2 billion assets took place following the November 24 Geneva Accord between Iran and the G5+1.
The assets were due to be deposited with CBI account in 8 installments.
