Mubasher: National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), a subsidiary of National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Egypt-based Petrojet to explore engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects.

The agreement was signed during the ADIPEC Exhibition, being held by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) on 15-18 November 2021, according to a press release on Wednesday.

Under the MoU, NPCC and Petrojet will cooperate in exploring EPC project opportunities in the oil and gas fields across the UAE and Egypt.

The CEO of NPCC, Ahmed Al Dhaheri, said: "The MoU highlights our proven track record in delivering complex EPC projects as well as defines our strategic ambition to expand to new sectors, supported by our vision to be a global EPC major."

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Petrojet, Waleed Lotfy, commented: "Though this partnership we will be expanding our footprint and share expertise within the sector, and we will continue our focus on co-developing the localised solutions and capabilities required to enable us to respond to local and global market needs, while continuously improving the quality of service we provide to our customers."
