DUBAI: Saudia’s upcoming fleet of 35 Airbus aircrafts will have a high-speed inflight broadband solution after it signed a deal with British telecommunications company Inmarsat.

The aircrafts will also be installed with a connectivity terminal by GDC Technics, a provider of engineering and technical services, Saudia said in a statement.

“The selection enables Saudia to provide a world-class digital experience for passengers onboard 20 Airbus A321neo and 15 Airbus A321XLR,” it said in a statement.

Saudia's chief Ibrahim Koshy said there is “growing importance of high-speed inflight broadband for guests,” as the airline prepares for air travel recovery post-pandemic.
