AMMAN Minister of Public Works and Housing Yahya Kisbi on Sunday said that the visit of the Jordanian delegation to Iraq, which included representatives from the construction, housing, contracting and industrial sectors, will have direct impact on the two countries economies.

In a statement, Kisbi said that it was agreed with the Iraqi officials to bolster cooperation in various fields. He noted that Iraqi officials have stressed that Iraqs investment climate is geared towards the Jordanian companies.

The officials also emphasised their countys readiness to ease all obstacles that could hinder the work of the Jordanian companies, he added, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

A number of agreements were signed during the visit to Iraq, Kisbi said, adding that two projects at a value of $40 million were referred to two Jordanian mega-companies.
