Riyadh –Tahe International Air Transport Association (IATA) has reelected the Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation as an accredited international training center (ATC), the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.

IATA’s accreditation will enable the academy to organise international courses. It will also contribute to the academy’s trainees and trainers obtaining internationally accredited certificates with IATA.

The academy, affiliated to the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), said this accreditation renewal confirms the Kingdom’s weight in the civil aviation sector in addition to an extension of international recognition.

The Saudi academy has recently won a seat at the International Training Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), which in addition to IATA’s accreditation boosts its position with the policies set by GACA.

The academy confirmed that it will continue to expand and broaden its alliances and partnerships.
