DUBAI- Hamad Al Sheikh Ahmed Al Shaibani, Director-General of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD), has met with trainees of the "Forsati" initiative of 2021 to develop their leadership spirit, responsibility and positivity.
"Forsati" initiative aims at attracting national human competencies in specialised and administrative fields to invest in their professional development, and support the skills of new graduates through organised training.
Yousef Saad Al-Busamit, Director of Human Resources Department, and Maryam Saeed Al-Marri, Head of the Recruitment section, attended the meeting. The meeting included four trainees who were distributed to the Information Technology Department, the Engineering Department and Mosques Care, the Islamic Institutions Department, and the Office of General Director.
"The national initiatives concerned with refining the skills and seeking to attract human competencies of various educational levels, is a first stage of the continuous learning process. It is important to look at national strategies that develop future aspirations to discover and acquire skills along with basic skills, based on the leadership vision that invests in humans," he said during the meeting.
The Director-General of IACAD stressed that the initiative is based on taking advantage of the opportunities through thinking, creativity and innovation, which supports IACAD’s directions to serve the country.
Al Marri, in turn, pointed out how important is for young people to benefit from the training opportunities offered by the Dubai government, stressing that IACAD works annually to be part of the national endeavours in stimulating and developing the skills of new graduates.
She confirmed that initiative was chosen as one of the best practices at the Dubai government level, according to the report issued by the Human Resources Department in 2020. She said that the initiative supports the stability of young people and enables them to unleash their energies and skills by providing the necessary tools and skills they need in their career journey.
