CAIRO: The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development has signed a fourth loan worth $102 million to continue developing Bahrain's electricity network, Kuwait's state news agency KUNA reported on Sunday.

The loan is part of a series of loans by the Kuwaiti fund to develop 400 kilovolt electricity transmission networks in Bahrain, KUNA noted.

Kuwait, along with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, pledged $10 billion in financial aid to Bahrain in 2018 to rescue the country from a potential debt crisis.
