Iraq's state-owned Midland Oil Company has reached an initial agreement to develop the Mansuriya gas field with a consortium including China's Gereh and local company Petro Iraq, the Iraqi oil ministry said in a statement on Monday.
The agreement envisages the Mansuriya field producing 100 million standard cubic feet (mscf) of gas within 18 months, and 300 mscf within 4 to 5 years, the ministry added.
