Egypt - Huawei has signed a cooperation agreement with Egypt-based Petrojet to accelerate digital transformation in the petroleum sector, as part of Egypt Vision 2030.

The agreement was reached on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC), held on 15-18 November 2021, according to a press release on Tuesday.

Under the agreement, Petrojet will benefit from Huawei's latest technologies and ICT solutions in maximising the industrial value of its petroleum projects.

Being in the Egyptian market for over 20 years, Huawei has offered the latest technologies and solutions across the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), the internet of things (IoT), and cloud computing to digitise Egypt's oil and gas sector.

These ICT solutions have been implemented in more than 45 oil and gas producing countries across the world to serve 70% of the world's 20 largest oil and gas companies.
