Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Co. (EETC) has signed a contract with a consortium comprising Sieyuan and MEGA to set up a power station in Wadi El-Natrun on a turnkey basis, Ahram Gate reported on Monday.

At a cost of EGP 83.1 million and $2.4 million, the project will be financed by the EETC to be completed over a period of twelve months as of the date of signing the contract, EETC’s chairman, Sabah Mashaly, said.

As part of efforts towards developing electricity transmission networks in Egypt, the project will work on meeting the rising demands in the industrial zone of Wadi El-Natrun.
