Dubai, march 19th, 2006 (WAM) -- Abdul Rahman G. Al Mutaiwee Director General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) received a delegation from Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry JCCI headed by Keith Brebnor the CEO of JCCI accomplished with number of businessmen and managers of South African companies from foodstuff, painting, building materials and construction, tourism and furniture sectors.

Al Mutaiwee welcomed the delegation, he expressed DCCI interest in activating and enhancing the relationship between business communities in both sides.

He said "we are interested in boosting our relations with South Africa as an important trade partner due to its remarkable development in deferent manufacturing aspects". He added "We are maintaining an excellent business relation, and we are looking forward towards creating a long lasting strategic partnership between the business communities in the UAE and South Africa".

On the other hand Keith Brebnor explained their interest in benefiting from Dubai which is famous as dynamic city. He added Johannesburg considered as major business and financial hub in South Africa, the GDP is expected to reach 5% this year he added. Brebnor explained the economy's situation is expected to improve after the decrease in the unemployment rates.
