Damac Properties on Tuesday announced that its strategic investment arm, Dico International, has signed a hospitality partnership agreement with the global fashion house, Roberto Cavalli Group, for launching Dico’s first iconic hotel in Dubai.

Set to be situated within the signature Al Sofouh, Dubai Marina development, the 220-room five-star hotel will be outfitted by Roberto Cavalli’s eye-catching designs, Damac said in a statement.

The Dubai-based real estate developer has noted that the tower is scheduled for completion in 2023. It will feature peerless views of the Dubai Media City skyline and Dubai Marina, while the Roberto Cavalli Hotel will feature an infinity pool overlooking the Palm Jumeirah, Damac added.

The partnership deal was signed by Damac Properties’ chairman Hussain Sajwani and Roberto Cavalli Group CEO Gian Giacomo Ferraris.

Damac Properties Chairman Hussain Sajwani said, “we are thrilled to be bringing another first for today's discerning global travellers and guests. Through the joyful spirit of the authentic Roberto Cavalli brand, we plan to meet market demands for familiar touch points, while offering guests distinctive experiences.”

Damac Properties and the Italian fashion designer did not provide further details on the project’s cost.

“We look forward to working on the first Roberto Cavalli-branded hotel, alongside the real estate pioneer behind Damac Properties,” Ferraris added.

It is worth noting that Cityscape Global, the largest and most influential real estate investment and development event for emerging markets globally, will take place during the period between 2 and 4 October at the Dubai International Convention Centre.
