Muscat - The Central Bank of Oman's board of governors concluded its third meeting of this year on Sunday.
The meeting was chaired by Dr Ali bin Mohammed bin Moosa, deputy chairman of the board.
The board reviewed the various issues on the agenda of its meeting, including the economic and financial report for the period up to June 30, 2016, as well as the activity report of CBO's departments during the period under review.
The board reviewed and endorsed the annual budget of the College of Banking and Financial studies (CBFS) for 2016-17. The board also reviewed the action taken by the central bank and licensed banks operating in Oman with regard to the financing of small and medium enterprises.
