Caparol Paints, the German leader in the global paints industry, said it had recently hosted a delegation of interior designers from China at its state-of-the-art facility in the UAE.

The 28-member strong delegation was here to learn about the interior design industry in the UAE and the Middle East as a whole, said the German firm in its statement.

They were given a tour of the Caparol UAE facility along with expert insights into the products developed by the company.

The Caparol team also gave them valuable insights into the local market and a peek into other countries in the region, it stated.

Caparol products including ArteTwin, Makhmalia, Armareno, DecoLasur, ArteLasur, Stucco Di Luce and Metallocryl interiors, which make up the decorative paints in the vast portfolio of product ranges, were showcased to the delegates.

Managing Director Martin Roshocha said: "At Caparol we believe that knowledge sharing is important for growth. Our understanding of the interiors and paint industry in the UAE and Middle East has only grown stronger over the years.'

"As a leading player in the global paints industry we understand the needs of people for their spaces around the region. Having developed our product ranges in house with an up-to-date research and development team, we believe that providing insights into the industry to fellow interior designers is a rare and great opportunity. We hope to continue doing this and hosting delegations from more countries in the UAE," he added.

Heba Ali, the design studio anager at Caparol, said: “It was our pleasure to host such a talented delegation of interior designers from China. We showcased Caparol products while also giving them insights into the industry here."

"The delegation was impressed with our product range and were very excited to learn about our decorative paints. We look forward to hosting more such groups in the future," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
