MILAN- Italian drinks group Davide Campari said on Monday a recent malware attack would have a temporary impact on the group's financial performance as a recovery of its IT systems was taking longer than initially expected.

The Milan-based group famous for its red aperitif said last week it had been targeted by hackers around Nov. 1 and that checks conducted showed data on some of the company's servers had been encrypted and some information had been lost.

Selected services have been progressively resumed after being sanitised and after extra security measures had been installed, the company added on Monday.
