ABU DHABI- A British energy official has commended the investment-conducive environment boasted by the United Arab Emirates and its success in drawing global business entities to invest across multiple business platforms in the country.
David Bedale, the Director of the International Energy Policies at Britain's Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, made the remarks at a meeting with Dr. Saif Saleh Al Sayari, Acting Director-General, Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority, ADWEA, where the two sides discussed ways of advancing the privileged relations between UAE and UK.
The meeting touched on the significant role played by ADWEA in ensuring the sustainable use and management of water and energy supplies in line with the directives of the country's wise leadership.

The ADWEA officials also briefed the British executive on the privatisation project being implemented by the authority as one of the model enterprises in the country.
"Such visits strengthen channels of cooperation with the energy sector in the United Kingdom, and pave the way for fruitful exchange of knowledge and expertise " said Dr. Al Sayari.
