Cairo –  BLOM Bank Egypt, a subsidiary of Lebanon’s BLOM Bank, has denied any plans to exit the Egyptian market.

Selling the bank’s assets in Egypt is not under consideration or negotiations, BLOM Bank said in a statement released on Tuesday.

The bank noted that it is keen on continuing its strategy in Egypt which aims to increase its market share in the country.
