MANAMA: Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (BKIC) has announced the appointment of Abdul Al Musali as senior manager in the sales and marketing department, Zeyad Zainal as senior manager in the digital transformation department, Zuhair Salman as senior manager of the motor department, and Ahmed Shehab, manager of the engineering and specialty insurance department.
Mr Al Musalli has extensive experience in the insurance industry, where he held high-level positions in several insurance companies before joining Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company such as business development manager at Bahrain National Insurance Company, and most recently in business development at ACE Insurance Brokers.
Mr Zainal holds an MBA from DePaul University and has extensive experience in the field of IT systems and project lifecycle management.
Prior to joining BKIC, Mr Zainal served as a manager of the application support unit at Benefit-subsidiary Sinnad, which is a provider of digital payments and card processing services across the region.
Mr Salman has lengthy experience in the field of insurance that exceeds 20 years and Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).
He has held managerial positions in several companies which included the Gulf Electronic Management Systems (GEMS)and Invita Claims Management Company, and most recently as senior manager of insurance operations at Gulf Union Insurance and Reinsurance Company.
Mr Shehab has diverse insurance and reinsurance underwriting and broking experience in the GCC market, which includes managerial positions in several companies. His last position was as senior reinsurance broker at Marsh Guy Carpenter Saudi Arabia.
Mr Shehab also has an ACII and an Associate in Risk Management qualification which are specialised and highly recognised in the insurance industry.
