MANAMA: Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (gig Bahrain) and Takaful International Company (gig Bahrain Takaful) yesterday announced the official opening of a new branch located in a prime location in Sanad.

The new branch will serve customers of various areas around Sanad and will be operating six days a week from 8am to 4pm.

Dr Abdulla Sultan, chief executive of BKIC, said: “We are very pleased with the new location which is very convenient for our customers to reach us. The new branch has used the latest technology to provide our customers with self-service areas as well as our new theme of interior that will be reflected in all our other branches. We have also made sure that the branch complies with our ESG framework to be environmentally friendly for both our customers as well as our staff in the branch.”

Essam Al Ansari, chief executive of TIC, said: “As per our plan to provide the best service to our clients, we have selected this new location. We have integrated our branches with BKIC since 2019 and this has shown the success in optimising cost and efficiency of our branches. We constantly review our branch strategy every year to improve our services and offerings to our customers.”

Rated A- with stable outlook by AM Best, Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company is a subsidiary of the Gulf Insurance Group (gig), one of the largest insurance groups in the Middle East and North Africa.
