HSBC has appointed George Sun as head of global debt markets for Asia, according to people familiar with the matter.
A spokesperson for the bank confirmed the appointment.
Sun, who will be based in Hong Kong, will start with HSBC on March 11. He was most recently head of global markets for Greater China and deputy chief executive officer for China at BNP Paribas.
