EMAL’s facility is located in the Khalifa Port Industrial Zone in Taweelah and aims to produce high-grade semi-finished aluminum products for a wide variety of industrial and domestic applications, including aerospace, automotive, technology, packaging, construction and electronic components industry. Phase one of the facility commenced operations on December 2, 2009 and will have to produce 750,000 tones per annum of primary aluminum with a product mix of sow, standard ingot, tee ingot, extrusion billet and sheet ingot.
