RioZim Limited is a Zimbabwe-based company, which operates the Renco Gold mine in the southeast of Zimbabwe, the Cam & Motor gold mine in Kadoma, the Dalny Mine in Chakari and the Empress Nickel Refinery near the city of Kadoma in Central Zimbabwe. The Company is divided into five distinct business units: RioGold, RioBase Metals, RioChrome, RioDiamonds and RioEnergy. The Renco Mine is 100% owned by the Company. The mining rights are held through mining claims, a mining lease and a special grant covering a total area of approximately 2 736 hectares(ha). The mine is located in the South-East of Zimbabwe in Nyajena communal lands, approximately 75 kilometers (km) southeast of Masvingo. RioBase Metals is comprised solely of the Empress Nickel Refinery, which it owns outright. Murowa Diamonds is a small-scale, efficient and viable open cast diamond mining operation. The Company’s subsidiaries include Sengwa Colliery (Private) Limited, RioBasemetals Limited, RioChrome Limited and others.
