Tunis - Convened on Friday, the Cabinet approved a series of draft government decrees including one related to the organization and the prerogatives of the general body of public-private partnership (PPP). The text completes the legal framework of public-private partnership.

The meeting also approved draft decrees related to the appointment of members of special delegations in Sidi Ameur, Mesjed Issa, Ettadhamen, Rouhia, Bargou, Mareth, Kalaa Sghira, Sbeitla, Mejez El Bab, Kalaat Al Andalous, Sbikha, Tazarka, Jendouba, Mornaguia, Dar Allouch, Takelsa and Grombalia.

Chaired by Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, the Cabinet meeting also discussed the draft law on the safety of food and animal feed.

The members of the meeting listened to four presentations. The first, on the security situation in the country, presented by the Ministers of Defence and Interior.

The second focused on the progress of the implementation of the state budget for 2016. It was presented by the Minister of Finance

The Minister of Industry and Trade made an inventory of the market supply and mastery of prices, while the intervention of the Minister of Vocational Training focused on training and private initiative.

In another connection, the Prime Minister recommended to take the necessary measures to guarantee the safety of agglomerations located near wadis especially during winter.

He particularly stressed the maintenance of discharge channels of rainwater to protect cities against floods.
