Tehran - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday introduced Ali Nikzad as head of the newly-formed Ministry of Infrastructural Affairs.
The ministry was formed through the merger of the two ministries of housing and urban development and road and transportation.
The merger was taken place based on article 53 of the 5th Development Plan which urges the government to downsize itself.
Nikzad, previously, was serving as minister of housing and urban development as well as caretaker of the road and transportation ministry.
