RIYADH, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia will raise its water tariff for non-residential consumers by over 50 percent from Dec. 16, the local al-Watan newspaper reported in an article posted on the website of the Ministry of Water and Electricity.

The new rate for industrial, government or large company users will be 9 riyals ($2.40) per cubic metre, up from 4 riyals now, the article said. Reuters could not immediately reach the ministry for comment.
