Kerman, Dec 14, IRNA

Deputy head of Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Mohsen Jalalpour said that the country's non-oil export has boomed despite the US-led unilateral sanctions.

'The non-oil exports has increased by 32 percent in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 20-October 21) as compared with last year's corresponding period,' he said.

'This amount of (non-oil) export takes place at a time when the country is under the most difficult economic sanctions,' Jalalpour added.

He noted that the biggest growth was in industry sector with a 50-percent growth rate and with a value of $9.4 billion.

'The non-oil export this year has compensated for the reduction in oil exports, including petrochemical products and condensates,' Jalalpour added.
