Middle East's Leading Luxury Developer Scoops Six Prizes at Arabian Property Awards

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 27 October 2013: DAMAC Properties has cemented its place as one of the leading luxury developers in the region by scooping six  top industry awards at the Arabian Property Awards.

The company has been recognised by the Arabian Property Awards across a range of categories including: Best Interior Design Apartment, Best Residential High-Rise Development, Best Golf Course Development, Best Developer Website and Best Development Marketing.

It comes fresh on the back of two awards for DAMAC Properties Chairman, Hussain Sajwani, who was named Real Estate CEO of the Year and Middle East Property CEO of the Year at recent ceremonies.

The recently launched 28 million sq ft AKOYA by DAMAC golf community, located off Umm Sequim Road, won  the 'best golf course development in Arabia' and will now compete at the International Property Awards in London against golf projects from all around the world. The master development is being developed around the Trump International Golf Club, Dubai - the first golf course to be managed by the Trump Organization in the whole of the Middle East and Asia.

DAMAC Towers by Paramount, the US$1 billion project in the heart of the Burj Area of Dubai was another of the big winners; winning in the 'best high-rise development' award and 'best marketing' category. The four-tower development, which stretches more than 250 metres into the air, offers one, two and three bedroom serviced hotel residences managed by DAMAC Maison, the hospitality division of DAMAC Properties, and one tower comprising of the Paramount Hotel & Residences.

DAMAC Esclusiva, the 150 metre high tower in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, also  won in the 'best interior design apartment', for the opulent, yet refined finishes in collaboration with the Italian fashion house, FENDI. The state-of-the-art project, which is currently under construction and set to be completed in 2016, is a contemporary FENDI space inspired by Oriental tradition.

Also collecting the honours was DAMAC Properties' website, www.damacproperties.com, which was recognised for a ninth year at the Arabian Property Awards, as one of the best sites across all developers.
