Sports Cities International, a unit of the Dubai-based Bukhatir Group, has completed 15% of the first phase of Tunis Sports City, including a cluster of residential towers named Cedar Residences, a senior official told Zawya.
Tunis Sports City is expected to become home for 30,000 people when completed in 2025, said Imad Kharoubi, director general of foreign investment in Tunisia's ministry of investment and international cooperation.

The project is being developed over 256 hectares at a total cost of USD 5 billion. Phase one will take five years to complete, Kharoubi said.
