Job offers reached 41,286 during the first half of 2016, of which 5,555 for university graduates, said a statement from the Cabinet Meeting held Wednesday at the Government Palace in Kasbah.

"25,440 recruitments were recorded during the same period," the statement added, noting that 37.3% of these recruitments have targeted university graduates.

"Services of the National Agency for Employment and Independent Work (ANETI) have recorded during the same period an influx of more than 370,000 job seekers, including 55.3% of women and 87% of university graduates ".

According to the same source, a significant rise was reported in the number of loans approved by the National Solidarity Bank, i.e. 7,945 against 4,824 appropriations in 2015.

In terms of loans for higher education graduates, they reached 1,433 against 908 in 2015.

63,438 people benefited from employment programmes in the first half of 2016, of which 73% are university graduates, i.e. up 25.1%.
